  • Protocol surveys for local and federally listed sensitive, threatened and endangered species. Experience includes general inventories, presence-absence, clearance, mark-recapture, line distance sampling, avian point counts, shorebird surveys, nesting songbird and raptor surveys, lynx habitat surveys, vegetation and rare plant surveys, marine mammal surveys, aquatic habitat and fluvial geomorphology surveys.

  • Project planning with the client regarding desired outcomes and deliverables. Staffing, training and management of field crews. Communication with the client before, during and after project completion to ensure proactive problem solving and progress.

  • We help clients achieve compliance with the Endangered Species Act, NEPA, and Migratory Bird Treaty Act by surveying for and monitoring sensitive species on active construction sites. Our experienced biological monitors work with the client and construction crews to foresee issues and avoid interference with project progress. We have experience on large scale utility developments and utility corridors in the Mojave Desert and Southern California.

  • We work with the client to ensure quality control with data collection management, and delivery. We keep sensitive information secure and provide detailed summaries of field work.
